Peisey is the doorway to the stunning “Paradiski” area comprising Les Arcs and La Plagne - which are now connected in the middle at Peisey by a major cable car spanning the valley.
The accomodation is 200m from a ski lift taking you to this cable car.
From Peisey
there is direct access to some of the best developed ski areas in the world and to
some of the best off-piste adventure skiing in existence. The chalets have a dedicated
sauna and boot room shared for all people.
Two chalets, La Laiterie and La Fruitière are normally contracted by a specialist tour operator for the entire winter. They can still be booked but catered. All chalets are fully available in summer.
Not only is Peisey in the heart of Paradiski, but its proximity to Aime (ancient
name Axima - ‘axis’) places it at the central axis to the region - making other resorts
such as Courchevel and Val d’isère easily reachable for day trips.
Whether you just want nature, peace and tranquility or the best of outdoors active life - Peisey is an ideal place to stay.
The village is small enough to be free of traffic and rowdiness - far enough from town and high enough to have fresh clean air - minimum of all forms of pollution.
Hiking trails start right at the door and some of the best mountainbiking trails in the Apls are to be found right there. Les Arcs even opens its chairlifts for downhill biking. There are top schools in paragliding and kayaking in the neighbourhood and ideal quiet roads for road cycling too. Les Arcs has an outdoor swimming pool and Bourg has an excellent 50m outdoor pool open all summer all day. Just below Peisey there is a supervised lake for swimming next to the river Isère.
